• The king was so rich that  during festivals he used to apply golden dust to his  entire body and at the end of each day he used to travel to lake with his people and wash away gold dust by swimming in lake

• And on the way to peru they  heard about   golden city el dorado and changed their destination in search of gold  

• On the way hundreds died and after searching for years they found the  muisca tribe and later spanish started inquiry   about el dorado by capturing  tribal  lands and their treasure 

• Not just spanish but many europeans spent centuries in search of  el dorado, by torturing and killing musica tribes   but no one could actually  found el dorado city which was built from gold 

• Even after these many years there are few people who are risking their life to search el dorado And also there are many  people  who believe that el dorado is just a story of golden man which later became a myth of lost golden city

• And also recent archaeological research confirms that el dorado was not a place but a person
